Anna Elizabeth Bennett

Anna Elizabeth Bennett worked at the Brooklyn Children's Museum and the Brooklyn Public Library in the 1940s and 50s. Later she was a children's librarian in Massachusetts. Her best-selling children's book Little Witch remained in print for more than forty years and inspired hundreds of children to write to the author, telling her how much they enjoyed the story. She died in 2002 at the age of 87.
