Ann Marie Gearen
Ann Marie Gearen is a retired psychotherapist who worked for twenty-five years at a shelter for women and children affected by domestic violence. She holds a doctorate in English literature and a masters in social work. With her husband, she lives in Oak Park, Illinois, and Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas, where a beloved community is still recovering from the disaster of Hurricane Dorian.
