Ann Beheler is Dean/Executive Director of the Engineering and Emerging Technology Division of Collin County Community College. She is responsible for continuing education and credit engineering and technology programs on all campuses, and as of January this year, Distance Education and the Teaching and Learning Center joined this division. She is the Primary Investigator for a $2.46 million National Science Foundation grant for a Regional Center in Convergence Technology that focuses on furthering careers in the emerging career area of convergence technology. She joined CCCCD from Raytheon Professional Services where she served as director of product and technology management. She has also been Director of Certifications for Novell, Inc. and has owned her own consulting firm. She holds a master of science degree from Florida Institute of Technology, a bachelor of science degree from Oklahoma State University, and she is currently pursuing a PhD in Education. In addition, she holds more than 20 IT certifications. Author of several textbooks, she has written a newsletter for the trainer community for Certification Magazine, and she was a regular contributing editor for IT Contractor Magazine.
