Angela Zusman is an award-winning author, oral historian and communications strategist who has documented hundreds of individual, family and community histories around the world. In 2011, Angela founded the non-profit Story For All (storyforall.org) to amplify the voices of young people and historically marginalized communities. By practicing and teaching ethical storytelling, Angela has helped hundreds of individuals and organizations build their capacity to collect and share their stories in ways that promote healing and inform policy change.Angela is the author of Story Bridges: A Guide to Conducting Intergenerational Oral History Projects as well as Listen: The Defeat of Oppression by Expression. She is the editor of multiple oral history compilations, including The Griots of Oakland: Voices from the African American Oral History Project, which was selected for In The Margins Best Books list and School Library Journal's Best Books of the Year. She is a recipient of the Oral History Association's Vox Populi Award for using oral history to promote social justice, a Public Education Service Award from Alameda County Office of Education and was named a Children's Wellbeing Pioneer by the Robert Wood Johnson and Ashoka Foundations.
