Dr. Andrew Braham graduated from the University of Wisconsin with his Bachelor's of Science Degree in May 2000 and Master's of Science Degree in May 2002. Dr. Andrew Braham graduated from the University of Wisconsin with his Bachelor's of Science Degree in May 2000 and Master's of Science Degree in May 2002. From June 2002 through December 2004, Dr. Braham worked with Koch Materials Company as a field engineering and a research engineer. In June 2005, Dr. Braham returned to school to obtain his Doctorate degree from the University of Illinois. He graduated in December 2008. For the next two years, from February 2009 to November 2010, Dr. Braham was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Southeast University in Nanjing, China. In November 2010, Dr. Braham began work as an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas, where he has continued to study transportation materials, while expanding into sustainability. A major component of Dr. Braham's laboratory deals with pavement maintenance and rehabilitation products and advanced pavement materials characterization. During his four years in academia, Dr. Braham has graduated six MS students in the area of transportation engineering. He has performed studies for the National Science Foundation, private industry, Hebei Province (China), Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, and Mack-Blackwell Rural Transportation Center. He has seventeen peer reviewed journal publications and has given over 85 presentations around the world. He was awarded the 2012 and 2014 Outstanding Mentor Award and received a New Faculty Teaching Commendation in 2012 from the University of Arkansas.
