Anastasia Drogaitseva grew up in a small town near Moscow, Russia. She has always loved animals, collecting pictures and small calendars of different kinds of animals. Her favorites are dolphins and red pandas. She started to draw at an early age and taught herself. Growing up, she had a series of drawings of a sad panda family and a family of crocodiles, that her grandmother still keeps somewhere. At 10 years of age, her mom bought her a kitten, a three-colored kitten named Ponka. She loved her very much and cared for her until Ponka passed away when Anastasia was 18. She is still greatly missed. Anastasia graduated from school in 2008 and finished her final year at the Moscow State Linguistic University in 2013. She now works as a freelance artist and illustrator and still tutors 2 students. She is planning to get a second, higher education in Arts, as she has always dreamed of becoming a cartoonist and creating her own movies. Anastasia now has less time to draw due to her full-time job and has moved on to some bigger projects. We wish you all the best! See less
