But I never wanted to be part of an Only club because I would have loved to have had a sister. With all the guys in my life, writing a boy as a main character seemed like a natural idea. As did my goal to appeal to kids who don't like to read because growing up I was one of those kids that didn't like to read. I like summer, kickball, and perfectly toasted marshmallows roasted over a campfire. I'm not very good at spelling, cooking or working the TV remote, but I still try hard to do a good job, except with the TV remote. Someone else always wants to be King Of The Remote, so I just hand it over and tell them what to do because sometimes girls are bossy like that. See less
