Amy Boss is the Trustee Professor of Law, Drexel University Earle Mack School of Law, Philadelphia. She was formerly Professor of Law and Director of the Institute for International Law and Public Policy, Temple University Beasley School of Law. Professor Boss has been an active participant in both domestic and international law reform efforts to accommodate electronic commerce. A member of the Permanent Editorial Board of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Council of the American Law Institute, she has worked extensive on revisions to the Uniform Commercial Code, participated in the drafting of the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act, and was an advisor to the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act Drafting Committee. Professor Boss has served as an advisor and as the United States Delegate to the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) on issues relating to electronic commerce, representing the US in the development of the Model Law on Electronic Commerce and the Model Law on Electronic Signatures. She has also worked with the UN Commission on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (APEC) on issues involving electronic commerce. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of The Business Lawyer, former Editor-in-Chief of The Data Law Report, and served on the editorial boards of The Business Lawyer and the EDI Law Review.
