Dr. Alka Dwevedi had completed her PhD in 2009 from Banaras Hindu University, India, followed by postdoctoral studies in the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, India. Dr. Alka Dwevedi had completed her PhD in 2009 from Banaras Hindu University, India, followed by postdoctoral studies in the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, India. She has joined the UNESCO-Regional Centre for Biotechnology, India as a young investigator in 2011. She is presently a guest faculty member at the University of Delhi. She has published 25 articles in peer reviewed international and national journals of repute in the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, biophysics, proteomics, food chemistry, nanotechnology, biotechnology, medicinal chemistry, and pharmacology. She has published 6 book chapters with international publishers, a single author book with Springer International Publishing AG, and one book is undergoing publication (single author, with Springer International Publishing AG ). Most importantly, she is the first author in almost all published articles, reviews, and book chapters. She is an editorial board member in various international journals like; Developmental Microbiology and Molecular Biology , International Journal of Biotechnology and Bioengineering Research , International Journal of Applied Biotechnology and Biochemistry , Wyno Journal of Biological Sciences , International Journal of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology , Global Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology , International Journal of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry , World Journal of Biotechnology , and reviewer for several journals.
