Aisling Swaine is Assistant Professor of Gender and Security at the Department of Gender Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science. Aisling Swaine is Assistant Professor of Gender and Security at the Department of Gender Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science. Swaine is also a Visiting Fellow at the Transitional Justice Institute, University of Ulster, and was previously a Hauser Global Fellow at the Centre for Human Rights and Global Justice at the School of Law, New York University. She previously worked with the United Nations and international non-governmental aid organizations in conflict and post-conflict settings, and continues to provide consultation to a number of international organizations including the Trust Fund for Victims of the International Criminal Court, UN Women and Irish Aid.
