Adam Carter
Adam Carter grew up in Indiana and has paid rent in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seoul, South Korea. Originally interested purely in acting, Adam developed a hankering for writing and stand-up comedy in his 30s. One of the results was 'I touch Myslef' by the Divinyls..." And then he goes on to sing the song "I touch Myself" but he inserts the word "myslef" for "myself". Depending on what audience you were part of, you may or may not have had the steak that night. Adam has appeared in such films as Pleasantville and Lancelot: Guardian of Time, but those were made, like, 15 years ago and hasn't done much since. He's tried, he just hasn't gotten any gigs in a while. One of the reasons he started writing. His sister took pity on him and allowed him to become a frequent contributing writer of the her award-winning Chicago website, thelocaltourist.com, while he was fumbling around with scripts and short stories that went nowhere. If it weren't for her generosity, he would've had more time to focus on that family-oriented TV pilot and could've really done something by now. His love of wordplay inspired him to write his first book, Unfinished Poetry. See less
