Aaron Fox is a World War II Marine veteran of the battle for Iwo Jima. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio in the grim, depression 30's when mom and pop stores such as Steinberg's grocery and the characters that come to life in this novel were part of his life. Mr. Fox has a Masters Degree in Politcal Science from Case Western Reserve Unit. He lives with his beloved wife Ruthie in the quaint village of Chagrin Falls, Ohio along with James, an 85 pound lab-mix that insists on sleeping with them,
