A D Harvey

A. D. Harvey was educated at St. John's College, Oxford and University College (now Wolfson College), Cambridge. He has taught at the Universities of Cambridge, Salerno, La Reunion and Leipzig. He is the author of half a dozen books, including 'Collision of Empires: Britain in Three World Wars, 1793-1945' (Continuum): 'a vast, complex, and brilliant mosaic, each individual tessera of which is hard-edged and glittering'.
