How do I use the coupon I've received?
Alibris coupon offers include a specific coupon code. Do the following to redeem a coupon:
- Print out or write down the coupon code and the minimum purchase amount required (if any), and then shop for your books, music, movies, and other items on Alibris. Add your selections to your Shopping Cart until your merchandise total meets the qualifying minimum specified on your coupon offer (coupon savings do not apply to tax or shipping charges).
- Click the Check Out button to proceed to the Review and Place Order page.
- Enter your coupon code in the Coupon Code section (bottom-right corner of page); enter it as one complete string, with no spaces before or after the code.
- You must then click the Apply button to apply the coupon discount to your order. After clicking Apply, review the charges in the Order Summary box (upper-right corner of page). Your coupon savings amount will be reflected in your order total.
- Click the Place Your Order button to complete your order.
Can I redeem my coupon on my recent order?
No. Coupons cannot be redeemed after an order has been placed. You are billed upon clicking the Place Your Order button, and the items are shipped shortly afterwards. Coupons can be used until they expire.
Does Alibris offer coupons in international currencies?
Alibris plans to offer coupons to our customers in various international currencies, but our coupon codes are presently available only in U.S. dollars. However, you may convert a U.S. coupon to a different currency.
Can I convert a coupon from U.S. dollars to a different currency?
Alibris coupon codes may be applied to qualifying orders and converted to any currency accepted on our Web site. For example, if you receive a coupon offer for U.S. $5 off of U.S. $50, and you're ordering items in euros, your coupon code will be valid for a discount of the euro equivalent of U.S $5 off of the euro equivalent of U.S. $50 when you enter your coupon code during the checkout process.
Can I apply excess coupon credit to tax, shipping, or another order?
No. Coupon amounts above the price of your item(s) cannot be refunded or
applied to previous or future orders. Coupon credits are only applicable to
base item prices, not to incremental tax or shipping.
