From the warm organ sounds of "Copyists" through the rocking guitars on "You Are Right to Be Afraid," each song radiates a sense of closeness without being smothering. The elements of former bands are easy to see, but this combination of musicians takes those bands' ideas to a grand new level, with brand new psych flourishes, organs, etc. This is probably one of the best things Dischord has put out in a while, and that's saying something given that the label rarely, if ever, misses.
