This book is the sequel to Captains Outrageous, and the series clearly wants a third book. In Captains Outrageous, we learn a bit about Yor & Katherine Lee's history. But we didn't learn why she stole his talisman, or what her plans are. We still don't, completely, but we learn a great deal more about Kantar and what Yor's stewardship of Firefang's Eye means. This book introduces more of dragon society, the Game, and some of its other players. We also get to know the chrome dragon a bit more. Yor's Revenge has more obtrusive puns than Captains Outrageous, astonishing as that may be, and more scenery, but less action. We also learn a bit more about the Captains in isolation.
