Martin Green presents a well-constructed argument that Henry Wriothesley (pronounced ROSE-lee) is the Fair Youth of the Shakespearean sonnets. Although he takes no stand on the authorship question, his work has been very helpful to Oxfordians who believe that Henry Wriothesley was the love-child of Edward De Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford, and that the first 17 sonnets in the 1609 collection were written from father to son, urging him to marry, have a son, and carry on his family's bloodline.
