This includes the support of complementary therapies as well as medical therapies. Nursing interactions with women during outpatient and in-patient care are then covered in the context of attaining, maintaining, or regaining health. The emphasis throughout is on providing the woman with nursing care within her family and her community in a partnership framework that is community-based and community responsive.
