The ten songs on this self-titled debut full-length from With Resistance seem over before you know it. The band delivers their music and message primarily through a straightforward hardcore sound, with melodic undertones, quality breakdowns, and change-ups à la Botch. While many might label this New Jersey band as "metalcore," the sound on this album is more diverse than that, and the subtle differences of guitar tones makes them out to be an upfront hardcore band, as opposed to a sludgy metalcore band.
