This Completes the Set!
I'll always be amazed that all four of these books by Lynn Plourde were not offered in a box set. It would make even more sense given that this one, Winter Waits is out of print now (presumably due to lower sales...). I've seen other reviews of this book - quite scathing, really - that criticize the storyline for being less a message to children than a reminder to workaholic fathers to pay attention to their children. It's a book. It's for kids. It matches the set of seasons from this author. It's great. I suggest you pick it up.
