Although the title indicates that this book is "Plain & Simple," I have found it to be a detailed and comprehensive reference for both beginners and those with more experience in earlier Windows' operating systems. I have learned a great deal from using the "Plain & Simple" line of manuals. I highly recommend this book as an extra to have on the shelf when the simpler introductory books about Windows 8 just are not thorough enough.
