The scientific evidence used against her has now been totally discredited. She served some ten years in Durham's maximum security prison before being released and pardoned. Her brother-in-law died in prison. Annie kept her dignity in prison, not least because of her strong Catholic faith. Seven years after her release, she has forgiven the British legal system and police, but her memories of her wrongful imprisonment are still fresh. This is her story.
