The author's first book, based on hius journalistic experiences during and just after World War I, an account of the reasons which caused Central Europeans to emmigrate to America, Russians to rush to Constantinople, Greek royalty and comoners to leave their land, and, interestingly, why the English and Scottish "emigrate" to pubs at night.
