This is the only explanation of the Holocaust that makes sense. Jews were more integrated and accepted in German society than in any other country in Europe, including Great Britain. If their elimination was a core plank of the Nazi party why did Hitler wait until 1941 to put things in motion. The answer is that after the German defeat on the eastern front by the Soviet Union, the German aristocracy (for whom Hitler was a proxy) was afraid that the Russian Revolution was knocking on their door and that educated Jews (who flourished at all levels of German society) constituted a potential fifth column sympathetic to Soviet communists and their egalitarian objectives.
