Sharon G. Flake has been known for her excellent books for teens and this one is very pleasing. It is a collection of short stories about various girls and the way that males affect their lives. It deals with issues such as colorism, interracial attraction, being without a father, and more. It is a good book to discuss with guys and girls alike and gives a better understanding of both gender's perspectives.

Great Author
If you want your teens to read, buy Sharon G Flake books. My daughters went from hating to read to reading all of her books in a matter of months. They relate to them and the books keep them interested so they can't put them down. I wish she would write more soon.
