Unknown to the stranded detectives, an obsessed killer has travelled from the Riviera to Dartmoor, and is stalking the stranded vehicles, searching for one particular victim, coming closer with each passing minute...As if it didn't have enough trouble, the Peculiar Crimes unit is about to receive a demanding royal visitor, and the Home Office is preparing to shut the PCU down when the visit inevitably goes wrong...Two murderers, two incapacitated detectives, just six hours to solve two crimes and save the unit. Another Entertaining Bryant and May Mystery
This is another entertaining Bryant and May mystery. The two elderly crime solvers are confronted with two baffling mysteries in this installment of their adventure. A member of their crime solving unit is murdered in his lab but it seems that only the other members have the key to the locked room. Unfortunately both Bryant and May are stranded in their vehicle in a freak snowstorm so they must assist the others as best they can on their phones while they are dealing with a possible murderer roaming the cars in the snow in search of a woman and her child. Arthur Bryant and John May are fun to follow and the series is well written and best of all suitable for all who enjoy a good mystery.
