Hannah has left the Amish Community for 2 years and met her Aunt. She has worked at becoming a nurse. She is helping Martin Palmer with his sister's two kids. All of a sudden she gets a desperate plea from her sister to come home as she needs her. Upon return home she is confronted with Paul Waddell, who she was engaged to marry. Her heart is torn by the people who did not support her when she was raped and left the Community and her love for her family and friends. Together with Paul she is able to find a way to help her sister. Then she is torn between her love for Martin and her love for Paul. Will she chose Martin, the Englisher, or Paul, the Amish. That I will leave you to guess so you will want to read the book. But love is like that. You learn a lot about forgiveness of people throughout this whole book. A must read. But before you read this book, you need to read When the Heart Cries and When the Morning Comes. Each book will leave you wanting more.
