Fine in Near Fine jacket. First edition, hardcover issue. Fine in near fine dustwrapper with dampstains visible only on the inside of the jacket. Inscribed by the author: "For my friends at the Forum[? ]. Richard Hugo." Pulitzer Prize-winning poet James Tate's copy with his ownership Signature on the front fly. What the association between the "Forum" and Tate was is unknown to us. A very nice copy, the hardcover issue is uncommon.
