Excellent book. We wanted to use it as reading for our weekly meditation group, but the chapters were pitched at different levels of interest and experience, so we decided not to use it. Nonetheless, this is enjoyable to read. It's the dharma.

Excellent Overview of Buddhism
I very much enjoy this book; it explains much of Buddha history and understandings of the precepts of the religion and was very helpful in guiding me on my path. I very much recommend this book to anyone interested in Buddhism basics and those who are struggling with understanding its underlying principles
