Steve Lawrence jumps to his wife Eydie Gorme's label, ABC-Paramount Records, for their debut as a duo on LP, and it is a satisfying, if predictable, presentation. Someone, maybe one or both of the principals, has scoured the catalogs of some major songwriters for classic duets, which Lawrence and Gorme cover handily. They are particularly comfortable with the work of Frank Loesser, notably on "No Two People," from the film Hans Christian Andersen, on which two lovey-dovey lovers step on each other's lines to proclaim how infatuated they are.
