While taking a class called "An Introduction to Human Services," I realized the course did not address the biracial section of American society. On researching this topic, I found very little. Using my own life experience, I wrote this book to challenge today's people to consider how biracial persons fit into the American public. My hope is that by sharing my journey, others will develop a better understanding of what it is like to be biracial in this country today.
