Mexicans have a saying, "If guests come and there aren't enough beans, just add a little more water to the pot." "Watch Out For Topes," is a memoir about the couple's travels across Mexico. Each short story contains nuggets of information about Mexican culture, showing the joy of living in this colorful, diverse country. The title, "Watch Out for Topes" has a double meaning. It cautions drivers to be alert and observant, be ready to stop or make quick changes, and slow down. Following that advice will make our lives happier.
