This is followed by a clockwise exploration of spectacular coastal walking that allows a complete circuit of the island. The final walk on Gozo wanders over a series of little hills further inland. The last walk in the book might well be regarded as the best of them all - a circuit around the lovely little island of Comino. The Maltese Islands bask in sunshine and make an ideal walking destination, particularly during spring and autumn. The guidebook provides practical information on getting to and around the islands, accommodation and language. There is also useful background information on Maltese history, geography, and flora and fauna.
