To hear two great singers, Lehmann and Mellchior, in a more intimate setting is a treasure. Melchior was, literally, a giant and Lehmann may have been the greatest VOCAL actress in classical audio history. Listen to their definitive recording of Die Walkure for proof positive. Flagstad?
