The book is intended to be used in conjunction with a particular gopher server, the Gopher at the NCSU Libraries, but this is not necessary. In many cases, the book refers to external texts, scripts or files. All of these can be retrieved from the Gopher at the NCSU Libraries in a directory named "Finding Your WAIS Through a Gopher Hole".
