Mr. Krueger is an excellent writer; I like his style anyway. He lives in MN, and knows his subject. It is almost historical fiction. I have purchased 3 more books since I read the first one. He was going to be at a local library...but then we had a blizzard. I do hope to meet him someday.

Another Great Krueger Read
Krueger writes with well developed characters, lots of Native American lore and culture, AND weaves a great story around both.

Inferior Cork
I am a great fan of Krueger & eagerly awaited his newest Cork O'connor thriller. It was most dis- appointing to read this one. It is grossly horrific with excessive grissly details. The plot is not at all plausible and the characters wooden, totally unlike the majority of the author's work.
