German description: Der biblische Kanon hat fur die Praxis glaubender Menschen und fur das Handeln im Raum der Kirchen eine grundlegende Bedeutung. Er umfasst jedoch eine Vielzahl von Schriften, die uber viele Jahrhunderte hinweg entstanden sind, unterschiedlichen kulturellen Umgebungen entstammen und in einer grossen Vielfalt vom Gottesglauben sprechen. Die historische und theologische Vielfalt der biblischen Schriften ist kaum ubersehbar. Wie kann angesichts dieser inneren Pluralitat des biblischen Kanons dessen Verbindlichkeit in einer ihrerseits pluralen gegenwartigen Welt verantwortet und praktiziert werden?
