On this LP violinist Stephane Grappelli is heard in a different setting than usual, accompanied by a large orchestra arranged by Claus Ogerman. "Uptown Dance" is particularly catchy and most of the other songs, while new to him (other than "Baubles, Bangles and Beads" and "Angel Eyes") come across quite well. The supporting cast (which has pianist Jimmy Rowles and keyboardist Richard Tee alternating) is a major asset to this enjoyable set. ~ Scott Yanow, Rovi
