This is one of the worst books ever written about Islam. Caner is a fraud. He has joined the ranks of the many so called "experts" and "ex-Muslims" who people with no knowledge about Islam are reading and receiving totally messed up information. Caner has been called out and proven to be a Liar. Please check out the videos on YT of his fake arabic...they are extremely funny and tragic. If you want to know about Islam read the people who are honest...Esposito, Lings, hamza yusuf, etc. Karen armstrong is also an excellent choice. Also, The translation of the Quran by Mohammed Asad is good too. Stay away from Caner and the other fake ex-muslims who are only looking to make a quick buck.

Wanted to give NO star
I am an evangelical Christian. I like to talk with Muslims about Jesus (Isa) ...
However this book is written for people who have already made up their minds by people who have no clue.
The Caner brothers have been proven both by Christian and non-Christians to have misrepresented a large part of their life story.
At the following link Ergun Caner repeatedly shows his ignorance of Islam. http://www.fakeexmuslims.com/issues.htm
He thinks INJIL means ANGEL...when it is actually the record of Jesus life (i.e. the Gospels).
http://www.fakeexmuslims.com/issueinjeelmeansangel.htm
Caner proves he has no idea about the difference between Sunni and Shia here. (http://www.fakeexmuslims.com/issuemahdihiddenimam.htm )
This is a VERY big deal to Muslims. Especially when Caner claims he was trained to commit jihad by his father...
Don't waste your time on this book.
"The Crescent Through the Eyes of the Cross" by Nabeel Jabbour is excellent for an unbiased Christian perspective.
"Destiny Disrupted" by Tamim Ansary is excellent for a Muslim perspective.
Books by Karen Armstrong are excellent too.
