Sounding as if it's been produced by Daniel Lanois in an Appalachian town, the music is sparse, allowing you to feel as if you're in the studio while listening. Most of the songs work well in and around the five-minute mark, with "When Did the World" being a tad too lengthy and drawn out. But the subsequent title track, appearing as if it were recorded live, is the highlight in a sea of well-polished and picture-perfect nuggets.
