Very easy to understand
We used "Understanding Basic Statistics" 5th/E in our class. Its is a very well written book that is easy to understand. "Real-life Examples" in the book help you to better understand Statistical formulas. Any one studying Social Sciences, Nursing, Psychology will benefit from this book. However, I do recommend taking some basic Algebra classes before diving into Statistics.
