I first checked this book out of the library when my daughter was 2 1/2 and it quickly became one of her favorites. After checking it out several more times over the next few months I decided to buy it. Since it's out of print, I got it from Alibris. It's a sweet bedtime story with just enough text to keep a toddler interested, but not so much text that her attention wanders. The illustrations are gorgeous and very detailed. My daughter loves to point out every snake, snail, frog, ladybug, butterfly, cricket, etc., etc., that she sees on the pages. She hasn't tired of it after more than six months. I highly recommend this book!
