As a drummer, I always look for pictures of instruments, to figure out how touring musicians get the sounds they get live and in studio... There are not many of those in this book - especially pictures of Larry Mullen's drums, but it's a nice read, definitely worth it!

Great history of a great band
This book is a fascinating look into the life of U2. It is the story of the band from its inception to its Vertigo tour, told completely in the members' own words and accompanied by a bounty of archival pictures and images. It's a great read, often quite funny, and a rich reference for anyone who wants to get more insight into the band's history, their personal lives, creative process, philosophy, faith, struggles and triumphs. Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam are all candid, self-deprecating and detailed in their accounts. Highly recommended for any U2 fan -- read a few pages, and I'll bet you're hooked.
