Another "winner" by Jak Mallman Showell. Covers a lot of detail on the WW2 boats, layouts, pictures, list of U-boat numbers and service dates. A lot of detailed information about the famous type VII boats. Recommended to anyone following WW2 U-Boat operations!

This book provides much useful technical information and many interesting photographs., many from the author's own collection The fact that the author's father served on U-377 gives the book a personal touch. Charts, maps and a bibliograohy are included. The book will probably appeal more to those who have some knowledge of the subject .
