Haven't read it all yet but this is a very interesting volume. It's not your usual Bible Study book and I wouldn't recommend it for new believers. However, it has a richness of thought which is hard to find in modern writers. ( I just wish they had translated the Latin footnotes as I don't speak that.) It's in the English of the late Victorian era, since Jukes was a contemporary of Spurgeon. (Who thought highly of his works). The writing style makes it heavier going, but I just love its depth.
Those interested in and familiar with typology to a reasonable degree should find a lot of fresh thinking here. Highly recommended--but make sure you have a few years in Christ under your belt first.
