Â This version has been translated from the original French into English by Alexander Teixeira de Mattos. Â Maurice Maeterlinck was a Belgian playwright, poet and essayist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1911. Â Beautifully illustrated by Herbert Paus with seven tipped in colour illustrations and a frontispiece. Â Collated, complete. In the publisher's original illustrated cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light fading to the spine and bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good Indeed.
