In my teen years, I began to read Phyllis Whitney and Dorothy Eden gothic style books. If that genre is something that readers enjoy, then Janet Tanner's books are for them. She also has written a few mystery books that take place in current time. I thought that I had tapped out the romance mystery market and was very pleased to happen onto Janet Tanner. Highly recommended.
