Charlie Keating was a man of large ego and religious feeling. Unfortunately he used his "talents" to defraud and damage people who trusted him. If there ever was a "there is NO free lunch" he and his cronies were over the top of that. Bowden is one of my fav. authors, does a good writing job given the complexity. After reading this book, and todays financial problems, it seems as tho we never learn when charlatins come to our house. Go back in history and see TODAY.
