"TRIPLE ZECK" is a compilation of the 3 novels centered around the superlative villain, Arnold Zeck. The best of the 3 novels is "And Be A Villain", the title of course taken from Act I of Hamlet, saying "Meet it is I set it down, that one may smile and smile and be a villain". The story focuses on an extremely popular radio personality, Madeline Fraser. The program and their clients hire Wolfe to expose the person who murdered a guest who was poisoned while on the air, by drinking a product of one of the program's clients, thereby hopefully also preventing loss of clients. In doing the job only Wolfe can do, he runs up against (for the first time) the unsurpassed villain, Zeck. The next best novel of the 3 is "In the Best Families". The brilliance of Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe is sorely missed.
