First printed in the Saturday Evening Post, this serial is another of the gripping fast paced westerns created by Peter Dawson, the non de plume of Jonathan H. Glidden. The story involves Will Speer, ex-Indian fighter, who is framed for stealing a shipment of gold, and the person who at least knew the truth about this situation was his best friend, also the person who had arranged for him to come to Rock Point in the beginning. Peter Dawson knew how to create characters and plot situations that were both real and solvable--characters which were not one dimensional but who worked through what came their way the best way they knew how. Don't dismiss this "western" but give it a try. I think you'll like it.
